Two men enter, one shall leave

So, I entered the abyss that is the Moomba+ Soundcloud group, and as you can see, I have emerged victorious. I present you with a selection that I’m particularly feeling.

Now, onto the goodies!

Ok, you caught me, I’m a sucker for the amen break, and this is done with class. The intro should be slightly reminiscent of a certain tune we should all be familiar with by now, which the sets the pace for the drop. Dark stabs enter with a ragga call, and the next thing you know you’re off!

I like Crookers, and I like cuss words, oh, and I like house music too, thats pretty much why I clicked play on this track. This shit is dope, flipping the original into a juke bit, this is high energy from the get. Milanegeles is a name I’m previously unfamiliar with, and I’m sure I’ll be hearing more good stuff from this camp in the future.

This tune is just fantastic, I mean really, I don’t say that about a lot of stuff. But this one does it for me. On that trancey epic build up vibe, and then boom here come the lasers. Stay tuned for the second drop, cause it totally has this retro vibe so you can get your Ladytron on before you go back to raging.

Astrum is another name I have never heard of until this submisison, but I’m liking what I hear so far, tight drum programming, sick sound design, and arrangement. My one critique is that high part of the mix is a bit ‘hot’. I’ll be following this artist and expect to hear more.

Alright, I clicked on it because of the name! The beat is hot and the vocals are dope. Summertime is coming up, and this will fit perfect on the patio. 2Irie hail from Barbados and do all sorts of cool things like moombahton, kuduro and cumbia.

Yung Bhear came out swinging with this one. Right off the bat you’re hit with hard beats letting you know it’s about to go down. The breakdown on this is sort of like a bittersweet thing before jumping off to banger territory. Hang in there for the second drop, because this one has a groovy progression.

Jimmy Dents wrecked it on this one, and by wrecked it, I mean he stuck the handle in and broke it off. This choon is large!
