Well we have been getting “Jiggy Wit It” here at Moomba+ all week long.  First, we dropped the New Wave 4 Comp and we appreciate all the work the artists, support staff and our friends did to make it a reality.   I also say that we hardly ever mention Tony Forns who is the proprietor of Moomba+.  He has done a lot for the scene and the way he executed this latest New Wave Comp is another in a long list of moombahton contributions.  Also, shout out to Viciouz Viv for her epic mix and for the Radio App.  Whoa!  Another really good development is that we put together our first trap post on Tuesday and big shouts to Lost Prophet for that……

So in celebration of all that, two of our favorite producers, Jonny Chino and Primetime (two of Cali’s finest), have put together a stunningly well-produced bit of dancefloor moombahton that references Mr. Jiggy himself.   Both of these two have been working extra hard and deserve your support.   Follow them on Facebook and download this Moomba+ exclusive

So in other moombahton and global bass news, a lot has been made about Snoop Lion, his new name and production style.  LA Yaute decided he didn’t care about the politics behind the song and instead made this awesome reggaeton/moombahton/electro hybrid transition track.

Here is a new Beach Club track called “Yeh Sun”.  It has a tropical feel that gives way to a darker, more sinister sound as the track progresses.  Fun synths and a good first drop makes this one to check out and see if it works for your sets/Ipod.

I really didn’t know much about RotBott but I really like this remix of “Chasin’”.  Quite looking forward to hearing more from this producer.    Download this, especially if you are down to go a little deeper on the dancefloor.  It’s got airhorns and stuff but there is a depth many moombahton tracks lack in this one.
