If you don’t know about Sabo and the Sol Selectas then you probably aren’t reading this article. Dude is huge in this scene. An incomparably good DJ (selector) with a true ear for a hit, it’s been a pleasure for this author to watch Sabo work. Having grown up in and around the Chicago house scene, I can often identify moments in Sabo and Nadastrom B2B sets that remind me of when Chicago house greats would throw down b2b at massive warehouse events. And when Nadastrom and Sabo are really winning over a crowd, they get DEEP. Here is a collection of some of the best Sabo edits, which he has selected for us, to shed some light on what music is and perhaps show some of us the error in our ways.
