Smooth Sounds

by Moomba Plus on January 10, 2013

One of the smoothest tunes I am familiar with right now comes from Kameronessi and is available for free.  “Morning Dew” has been my “wake up” song for a few days now and I feel confident recommending it as such to our readers.    Lots of good music on various compilations from Kameronessi and of course on his Soundcloud.  Def one to watch.

King Kong is one of the absolute best moombahsoul producers.  Hands down! This track is a favorite of mine amongst his recent releases and samples a favorite of all time.  “Can you fill me in?”

Kayjay is a Wisconsin moombahtonista who has been supporting the sound both as a producer and DJ for two years.  His inclusion in the New Wave of Moombahton series was a nod to his production talent but his latest inclusion on Mixmag/Legitmix’s Moombahsoul competition produced by Sabo and Heartbreak is just desserts for this hard working moomba man.   In remixing Cameron, Kayjay chose to stick with a truly minimal style with simple hooks and samples that represent the spirit of moombahsoul.

How about those hard charging dudes from Rot10 Musik, the oft imitated, but never duplicated, Minimaxx and EJ? What a year for that duo and they kick things off in 2013 with a free release that is way different than anything they’ve ever done.   This track is one that was not included in the Legitmix Compilation (I guess that’s why they call it a contest) so they are giving it away for free.  I am also posting Cabo Blanco’s submission.   I feel like these songs were very worthy so consider yourself lucky to have them.
