There been some Riddim-infused Moombahton that came out this past week. These riddims are dutty winey, daggering and straight up pon de replay mister deejay goldies. Make you want to go coconuts on the floor with the Hot Wuk. Time to get rasta!
LiedersOfTheNewSchool over the past few weeks, releases a riddim-style Moombahton remix called KlingKlangTon. The KlingKlangTon remixes got three different Dancehall artists singing on the track. One track from Suku entitled “Mad Summady”, Tifa’s “Champion Bubbler” and Popcaan’s “So We Do It!”.
Banana Split from France is joining in on the riddim-infused Moombahton with his original production “Global Riddim”. This track got a tribal chant that builds up into a wild drop. On Banana Split’s Facebook fan page, he is willing to hear “Global Riddim” gets remixed and have stems available for whoever wants to flip the banger.
Rogal!k returns with a jammer called Crocotta. The track got a dembow kick with acid piano snyths giving a Jazz feel during the builds.
Major Lazer finally releases the most anticipated track from the upcoming album “Free The Universe” known as “Watch Out For This (Bumaye)”. This is the calm before the storm. Featuring Busy Signal on the vocals, Major Lazer collabs with the original Bumaye’s track producers F.S. Green and The Flexican to bring this out to a wider audience. Definitely a club popper for sure.
DJ Brostradamus recently done a Moombahton/Trap mix called Finding NeBro. The mix got 19 tracks in little over 21 minutes long. DJ Brostradamus is known for spinning on the Moombahton Era show on Moombaplus Radio every other Saturday.
