Howdy my fellow guys and dolls! Today, everyone is in for a special gem. Last week, I was Soundcloud browsing on new tracks and talent. I came across this just turned 18 year old prodigy that goes by the name of Mike Sylix. For Mike Sylix, he is based out of Holland. His music gets regularly played in clubs out in Amsterdam from his brother. His remixes caught the eyes of Vato Gonzalez and Jacob van Hage. Ranging from Moombahton to Electro-House to Trap and Dubstep, Mike Sylix possesses traits of becoming a top producer in the scene. Without further delay, let’s me share some of his material to the eardrums. Crank up the volume!
These tracks are his Moombahton blasters. One is an original track called “Buaka”. The track Buaka is straight-up Moombahsexy. With a starting dembow and synth-haven drops, it don’t disappoints. Then, Mike Sylix did a Moombahop remix of David Banner’s Play. With that remix, I was brought back to my high school days and was head-bobbing with the remix. He also did a remix of the Michel Teló’s classic “Ai Se Eu Te Pego”.
In addition to his Moombahton tracks and remixes, Mike Sylix collabs with Wesquared to do a bpm transition bootleg of Blasterjaxx & Carlos Barbosa “Escucha” that goes from Electro-House to Moombahton to Electro-House.
Mike Sylix puts effort in the Electro-House genre with a combination of originals, edits and bootlegs. His two originals are “Still ID” and “Repop The Bass”. The Jacob van Hage’s bootleg he done of Voodoo is supported by Vato Gonzalez and Jacob van Hage himself. The bootleg of Tiësto’s Maximal Crazy that Mike Sylix releases have a Trap breakdown in the middle of the track.
Not only Mike Sylix got the Electro-House scene down to a point, the Trap from Sylix is on top of its game. He did a bootleg of Hardstyle hit My Worship from The Prophet. It’s a preview at the moment but you can tell its up at the level of Flosstradamus’ tracks. The past few days, he releases an edit of Reece Low remix of Rizzle Kicks “Down With The Trumpets” with half tempo dutch horns, heavy as fuck 808 kick & nice usage of the hi-hats. Lastly, he did a bootleg of Sidney Samson “Torrent”. The bootleg is like the carnival trap sound of what similar to Carnage’s Trap collection.
